School by Design helps Aurora Public Schools.

Proposed Aurora budget cuts not as drastic as originally thought.

Aurora Public Schools’ budget situation is not as precarious as previously thought, causing the district to step back from more drastic scenarios such as eliminating full-day kindergarten, cutting sports and clubs, and increasing staff—to—student ratios.

School by Design Press Release

SCHOOL BY DESIGN LAUNCHES AS INDEPENDENT COMPANY TO HELP SCHOOLS IMPROVE EFFECTIVENESS, INNOVATION, AND EQUITY.

SxD gives school leaders the analytics to go in front of school boards, parents and other constituents and show how their approach is empirically sound and cost effective. It makes it easy to gain support for what is best based on the district’s instructional priorities. It takes the emotion out of those conversations and grounds them in data.

Chalk this up as another trivia question in the category of “Did you know Amplify also provided this?”

Today the once—gargantuan education technology company announced it is spinning off another service, School by Design, into an independent entity.

As an administrator, I've always been interested in how we could use our time. How can we get more out of the time we have during the school day and better benefit students? School by Design introduced my school to the possibilities that we have in our resources. With it, we're creating time for teachers to provide interventions for students, without taking away from student participation in the unified arts. School by Design helps us use our data and identify choices that will benefit students and staff.
